Baseball World Series Victory!

Summer is off to a fast start! Only day #4 and kids have already been to the swimming pool, fished (many times), rode bikes, read books, attended volleyball camp, hung out with friends, and had a water gun fight! Allison always keeps things busy during the summer.

Benjamin had a great year with the 8AAA Mets. He was the lead off batter and played 3rd base and left field most of the year. His team won their National League Division as well as the "World Series" with a win over the Yankees. It was a fun season with some really great baseball players. I am a few weeks late in putting up this post but here are a few pictures from the World Series game.

Baseball!

It has been way too long since I have made a post. Several weeks ago I rented a great new lens from Adorama Camera - a great place found at adorama.com. The lens is a Nikon 70-200mm 2.8 VR Lens II which is ideal for sports photography so I took it for a test drive at one of Benjamin's games. The lens worked pretty well although I think if I was to purchase one it might be better to get a 70-300... more work to be done to figure that one out!

I love baseball and there is nothing better than watching one of your kids compete. The 8AAA Mets are really a great group of kids and they are excellent baseball players. The team only lost 2 games during the regular season and they won their division. We are now deep into the post season tournament and they remain undefeated. One more win and they will be the undisputed champions of the league.

Sports Day!

What a crazy morning! The last basketball game of the year followed by opening day for baseball. With two games already under our belt the 8AAA Mets are off to a great start. Now that basketball is over, it will make each week a little less hectic!
